Becoming more active on the whole. When I am resting, watching coursera lectures or reading instead of watching tv or wasting time online (not that the latter is cut out completely, of course). Getting out of the house more, for fun, exercise, or just because. Generally keeping my mind active so that stress and malaise cannot set in.

For me it's my mindset. I keep a strict log of my weight lifting progress so I can see results on paper and that helps me to keep going because eventually (and already have) I will see my physical results.
As for eating I am not as strict and as a result I can tell I am not making progress. Having muscle mass in the upper and lower body is awesome but I have a little man-belly....ugh.

Sometimes we think that moving forward is just a physical action with our body. But like all things that grow, it takes all of you to move forward. So, in order to grow, your attitude or mind set must be ready to except these changes also. Otherwise you will be just spinning your wheels. Trying to master something you are not ready for.
