this is a very timely post, as I have had a very frustrating day, with bad customer service. I try not to lose my temper, but sometimes I do. Today, I tried to be nice, but firm. didn't work. I just wanted to know why the pharmacy didn't have the meds that I gave them a week to get, they blamed the doctor, and then me for not giving them more than a week's notice. I just wanted my meds. I went away unsatisfied, no apologizing but I did get my meds.

I used to eat. Now I organize or clean. There's always something in the house that needs to be cleaned or organized :) It makes me feel in control of whatever I'm doing, even if it's just my closet.

my last job got to be a nightmare (thanks to a new GM)
when I had a REALLY tough day I'd stop at the gym on the way home and grab an open racquetball court. I know nothing about the rules, but I love racquetball because the court is small enough, and enclosed, so you can get out there alone and just hit the bejesus out of the ball. I'd picture the face of my boss on that ball and SMACK it as hard as I could. Great physical & mental exercise.
now I have a new job, a great boss, and no access to racquetball. But I still have an occasional stressful day. I go for a bike ride or grab my MP3 for a walk, a run, or climb the bleachers. Good tunes + physical activity = happiness!

I usually let out a few curse words and then realize how ignorant that is so I pray, pray , pray and that is where I find action rather the problem gets resolved or not, but my heart, mind, and soul are at ease because God took the burden off of me and is walking with me. There is so much power in prayer and so much love and comfort we get from God if we just ask. Eventually problem is resolved, we must be patient.

I get the fly swatter and hit the bed with it, that's one way, right in the moment of frustration. Otherwise, I cuss either to myself or out loud, depending on where I'm at at that moment.
