Plan how many you want to lose. Talk to your Dr for the best ways to lose the weight. Exercise EVERYDAY even if it is only a walk. Eat your fruits and veggies and if you want to eat meat that is healthy. That is your protein. If you don't like meat there are other ways to get your protein. There are great ideas on this site. They have alot of recipes. Try one out. Good luck
I think the answer is unique to every individual. For years, I struggled with unexplained weight gain, bloating, lack of energy and joint pain even though I followed a "healthy diet," counted calories and exercised regularly. It was only by paying close attention to how my body reacted to certain foods that I finally unlocked the key to my health and weight loss. Now I am gluten free and, finally, pain free, energetic and seeing results. Your body will respond when you give it what it needs. So, my best advice is to gather as much information as you can about living a healthy life but then apply only what really seems to make sense for you. And, love yourself enough to make real change happen. It isn't easy, it's darn frustrating sometimes, but totally worth it.

This is the thirty billionth time (slight exaggeration lol) I've started a diet and the older I get the harder it is:
1. To Lose weight 2. To Get motivated to get started.
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to take the first step and get the ball rolling. I've been here before but all I can think about this time is that dreaded, barren, desolate, inexplicable weight loss plateau!
Extra bonus points to suggestions that include losing weight magically and or effortlessly! lol
