I'm not in Canada, but I am in the foothills near ski areas, and I walk all winter. Just bundle up and go!

Well, I don't live in any area that has weather extremes either, but I am currently unable to go walking. Since I am rehabbing I have had to find other ways to exercise. I bought some chair exercise videos and also some resistance band videos from Amazon. When I can I still go to the gym but some days that just isn't possible. That's when the resistance bands really make the difference. The chair videos aren't really my cup of tea, but the resistance bands are quite a workout. (I live in New jersey by the way.) I saw your ticker says you've lost an incredible amount of weight. What worked for you?
Well since I live on the Gulf Coast you may be asking why I would reply. I fight the over extreme down here - heat extreme heat. So to have a no matter what the weather solution I purchased a stationary bike with a weighted wheel. So come "Spin" with Bama Ben!

October 1st., 2012 .........
OK, it's starting to get a bit cold out there the past few days, and all of us Canucks know what is coming. Nope, not Halloween although that's coming too. I'm referring to our lovely northern WINTER once again.
What ideas do you have for getting the exercise we need? Is there anything that you can share with the group about inside cold weather exercise?
Many of us are housebound in winter and don't have access to long walks outside or a gym that is in our areas, so thought there may be some bright ideas out there.
