I think I would find a cheap hotel room and take a bath there or if family or friend is close by go for a visit. We have neighbors that have 5 kids and they were having their only full bath remodeled. All us neighbors took a couple of people each from the family and let them take their showers for 3 weeks. I took one adult and one child.

Wow, that's tough. Kitchen sink sponge baths are not my idea of fun.
I hope that get it fixed today for you.

Is there a housing authority type agency you can call for help?

What a shame.
I suppose you could try to look at the less gloomy aspect: at least you have power to heat water. Even without that, some are lucky enough to have gas in their homes... even if the electricity is out.

Modern living can have its perks. Just think how we'd be if we had to build bonfires in our living rooms for heat!

That is rough, live in an area where storms cause such problems and it is a major inconvenience. Hope it gets back on quickly!

We have no hot water since Thanksgiving Day, it's recording say will be back on between 4 and 5 pm, yet as of now, we still have no hot water. hope some one come fix it, not wait all the way til Monday, some people have small kids, I don';t know how they deal with it. Am by my self, but have hard time try to boil water over the stove and bring it to the bathroom, I use my walker to roll with it through kitchen, living room to the bathroom. this landlord all they want it's to collect rent, don;t care about the resident; and the things is the rent is not cheap, not housing own, some resident make 100k or more a year live here.
