Welcome to Sparkpeople!
This is a great place to get healthy! There are so many tools, resources, and encouraging people to help you on your journey to "Health & Fitness". Be sure to poke around the site and try the nutrition and fitness trackers, Spark Recipes, Daily Spark, health articles, and secrets.
Joining a team will help you meet like-minded people that share similar life situations or goals. Be sure to read member blogs as there is a wealth of information there. You can start with one of mine on "fighting the fire":
Sounds like you are motivated and on the right track! Yes, staying involved with Spark will definitely help. I strive to get at least 50 points a day which involves me to reply to others, read articles and log my food...and exercise! Best of luck to you!!
I actually just joined the taming the sweet tooth challenge (and see that you're a team leader there) I'm hoping that I can cut all the sweets and sugar out within this first month of "getting back on the wagon" that way I don't have to worry about it for the rest of my life! Lol, hoping the challenge helps me with the cravings

Welcome back. I know what you mean about being on and off again on Spark People. I seem to go in streaks and I have found that the more active I am the more I tend to stay focused on what I need to do to meet my goals.
Have you searched the teams to see if you can find one that you think will give you the best support? If so, join one or two and participate. You'll find some great support .
Hey ladies and gents! I have been on and off of spark people for a while, and am now motivated to really get the ball rolling.
A little about me: I am almost 24 and at a current 190 (I think) size 14/16 clothes and feeling BAD about gaining all the weight back so i hope this is the last time i have to feel bad about myself. Even though I know i shouldn't. I lost a lot of weight after high school (like 100 pounds) so this is not the heaviest that I've ever been but being at my smallest which was a good 160 i felt much more confident...so my current goal is actually 150 i don't want to put something too hard on myself. And i have a goal of at least 5-10 pounds for the month.
Anyhow...that's me ish I'm hoping I find the support that I need here, there are so many great things to help me stay on track. And when I was reading about the boards spark people said that people that are more active on the board are more likely to follow through with their goals...so go us!!!
