The Spark recipe called Homemade Peanut Butter looks delicious, but beware, the calorie count is way off. It says the whole batch is 229 calories. It's not. A cup of peanuts alone is more than 800 calories, and the recipe calls for two cups of peanuts plus oil and salt. The person who wrote the recipe calculated used a 1/4 cup of peanuts by accident. I guess Spark isn't going to remedy it. It seems wrong to me to have a website dedicated to helping people lose weight, then post a recipe that claims a vastly lower calorie count than you'd get if you ate it. Reading the comments, there were some people who actually believed one tablespoon would be about 7 calories.
In short, it looks great, but the whole batch is 1827 calories, not 229. That makes it about 57 calories a tablespoon, which is a better calorie deal than Jif. But geez, let's be accurate.
