Thank you!! I have a long way to go, but seeing the scale finally budge to get over the 10 lb mark was great! I'd get to 7 or 8 lbs lost, then gain 5 back over a weekend, or gain a couple back in what had to be water. It was frustrating to say the least. But knowing I have cleared that first hurdle, helped a lot.

Good for you! You are on your way to a new lifestyle! And congrats for sticking up for yourself! It is hard, but the only way to get healthy is to make those choices, and sometimes those that love us don't get that. Keep up the great job, and let us know how you are doing!
Well, I started on January first. Because of my overactive pancreas, carbs are NOT good for me. So, I've been making a concerted effort to cut those back to 75-100 per day. I am staying with my folks right now while I look for a new job, so I can't exercise with them here all the time (retired). They are carb-a-holics! lol. But with a few heated discussions and sticking to my guns, I hit losing 10 lbs this morning. I was hoping to get that 10 down in January, but it only took 1 more week, so that's okay! I just had to share. Thanks, all!
