Thank you, everyone, for the ideas. I have tried several and it feels better.

Ok, I'm sure this stretch has a name but I don't know it so I can't link to it. One that gives me a deep stretch in my hips is to lie on the floor with your knees bent. Cross your right leg over your left knee/thigh, then pull up your left leg using your arms.

Spark has some good articles and suggestions too, right on the site.

Search for "psoas stretch" and hip flexor stretches online.

You CAN take ibuprofen if you want to, but stretching should help the ache.

My hips are sore--we did jogging and sprinting yesterday in class and I don't run. I'm thinking it is from the jogging/running. Any ideas of what stretches I can do to help with the stiffness? I know my muscles are "tight"--would yoga with the DVD help that? And should I take some ibuprofen to help with the ache?
