Welcome to SP--you're off to a great start here. Keep posting and tracking daily. Setting up your own Spark page so we can get to know you is a great help. And remember, we're all in this together. We help one another to get to the goal of a healthy weight and lifestyle. Together WE CAN DO IT!
Nothing worth doing is ever really easy. And I do know about it being hard after 55. After 65 it's even harder, but still well worth the effort. Especially because I want to see 75, 85, 95 and 100. And I want to be healthy when I reach those ages. You can do it and SparkPeople can help. Join a few teams of people with similar interests: location, age group, amount to lose, hobbies, etc. You'll find lots of great support in the teams. And make the commitment to track your food and exercise DAILY on SP. It will help you see exactly where you need to improve and help shape your behavior into more healthy choices.

My wife's my coach....got to lose some she says. Aiming for 20kgs over the next yr. We'll see! :) At 55+ it's not that easy. hehe.
