My name's Kate. I'm an active duty military member who is determined to get back into shape after a hiatus due to a demanding job and the arrival of a small tyrant. :) I'm looking to lose about 30 lbs and more importantly gain the energy to keep up with my whirlwind child. It's important to me to be there for him. I don't want to be the insanely stressed, worn out Momma anymore. I know that by adding exercise back into my daily routine, it'll help relieve that stress and tension that wake and keep me up in the wee hours of the morning. It also helps me support Mom, who was diagnosed with breast cancer around the time I found out I was pregnant with the kiddo. She did great with the treatments and is currently in remission and prognosis is good for her. -Kate
