Welcome to Sparkpeople. You have come to the right place. This is the best website. Everyone is very friendly and supportive. Lots of good information and useful tools to help you along the way.
Be sure to read the Getting Started Guide and take it from there. Join a few teams and become involved. This is where you will get most of your information and make friends too. You may also find reading some of the Success Stories very helpful too.
Good luck in reaching your goals. Together we will travel this weight loss journey and reach our goals too.

This is my umpteenth time to work on getting into better health. I am 48 and would really love to see a very healthy 50 as a gift to myself. I am prior military so have been in shape before but cannot really say that my eating habits were ever HEALTHY. Did without it order to make the grade kind of thing. My husband has many health issues so eating better is important for both of us. My daughter has developed a weight issue in her adult years and I would like to set a better example for her as well.
