I'm Cheryl and I joined tonight for extra support. I started working out on Friday, March 14th. So far, so good. I am doing cardio 3x/week and resistance training 2x/week ...hope to bump that up to 3 days as well. I don't particularly care for my gym but I have a free membership and it's in my neighborhood, so I am making the best of it. I am trying to avoid the scale but it is so tempting. I took measurements on Thursday and boy was that eye opening. I mean I can look in the mirror and clearly see that I am fat, but seeing those measurements made my eyes tear up. I really want to lose weight to lower my blood pressure, keep my diabetes under control, maybe work on fixing this sleep apnea, and I wouldn't mind being able to start wearing dresses again next year. Well, that is all I have tonight. I can't wait to explore the site and read about everyone's journey.
