He has a new book being published by Dr. Mercola called "THE FAT SWITCH." I find him a great help since I am 63 and I have Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and he addresses that issue, so I'm happy to listen to what he has to say. My doctor just tells me "Well, MOM, at YOUR AGE, you can't expect to lose weight with Metabolic Syndrome." I'm sorry, I want to find a better answer than that.

It looks as though you're doing great - congratulations!
I've found that taking up a variety of both strength training and cardio activities helps reduce wear and tear on the parts that are getting kind of "crunchy" (as I think of them). I've also learned to accept that some exercises just don't agree with my body and to feel no guilt or shame about that. I modify and move on.
