Welcome to SP! Congrats on losing 10 lbs. You CAN lose the rest of the weight you need to lose. Keep doing what you did to lose the 10 lbs.

welcome! you've found a wonderful place to help you acheive your goals. a bit of advice, i, like you, have a lot of weight to lose. take it 10 lbs at a time and it won't seem so overwhelming. especially when you're feeling less than successful. those days are no fun, but if you can say, just 3 more lbs to goal it's much easier than, ugh 30! good luck!

I just found this site today and am excited to meet new friends to share my long journey.I am 51, married,have 11 grandchildren and need to lose 80 pounds to get to a healthier me. I started watching my diet in January 2012 and I have already managed to lose 10 pounds,but still have a long way to go and would love some friends to help keep me motivated and of coarse to help others to stay motivated and to share all the ups and downs of our journey..
