Hi, my name is Carmen. I have been going on spark people for just a few weeks now and I have already lost over 5 pounds. Over the course of a year I have gained about 12 pounds. I knew my pants were getting tight but I thought come Spring I would loose the weight. In the past it has always been fairly easy for me to loose weight........Not this time! I found that I was not loosing the weight no matter what I tried. I guess it is true what people say; that the older you get, the harder it is to loose weight. I am in my mid-forties and I am so glad that my friend told me about spark people. It has really opened my eyes to the nutritional content of the foods I was eating. I feel so much more in control of my health and nutrition.
