I started Sparking in June of 2007. By using Spark and some self discovery along the way, I'm down 50 pounds, and am holding steady at a healthy weight. Spark is a massive site, you'll be discovering new and exciting things for months to come! * Diet is a dirty word. Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate!

Hi and welcome. So glad you are here to make a change! Get familiar with everything and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, support and accountability! Use the team search bar and type in things like your hobbies/interests or try typing in the first number of your age followed by a 0 and something. Example - "30 something", good luck on your journey!

I am so excited to be a part of this forum. I have always been fat, and I finally want to end this and get healthy before my marriage in 2015. I am hoping that we can motivate each other and achieve our goals together!
