This is my third time joining the SparkPeople gang. The last time was a little over a year ago and we (my fiance and I) were on the right track. We were eating healthy, going to the gym, making almost all the right decisions.
Good news, in April of last year, he got a job in NC (where we have always wanted to live) so we moved in May and the weight loss roller coaster begins again. We live in a somewhat rural area where there is limited access to 'gyms' and I have made every excuse in the book about not getting off my butt. Although my weight is only up 3 pounds from last year, my body is WAY more out of shape than it was (I'm currently at 260 and I'm only 5'3).
I had an 'epiphany' the other day as I looked around our yard. My epiphany was that we live in a beautiful area and there is absolutely NO reason why I can't get out there and get moving!
My main goals are: Watch my portion size Eat more fruits/veggies Be more active
My son is getting married in June of 2014 - I want to be the beautiful Mother of the Groom that he deserves... and that I want to be.
This time... this roller coaster is going down and with hard work - will NOT go back up again!
