Welcome to Spark People!

May I suggest making your spark page - and making it public - so that other members can interact with you and offer you more support.

Msg me if I can be of any help

Welcome to SP! Its always hard to step on that scale again, but you did it and now you're here, and that's the first step!

Its been a few years and a move from GA to FL. I got on the scale today and cried. I weigh 10 lbs MORE than I did 9 months pregnant. I am 185 lbs and 5'3. And the thing that REALLY kills me is that my degree is in Exercise Science. I (obviously) am no longer working in the field but this is like my worst nightmare.

How did I get here? I have a 9 year old daughter. I am 39 years old. Over the past 15 years between depression, child rearing, some illnesses and just general not feeling healthy...I have gained a lot. At my most fit I was 112 lbs!

I don't expect to get back down there...I would be happy losing 40 or so pounds and it is time to start! I need all the encouragement I can get.
