Start today ... move more!!!!!! I started walking 3 months ago and I feel wonderful. Take it one step at a time.

On the food front, choose one thing to change and focus on that. Then continue to add one change at a time.

Hello

So last week I worked out 3x low impact 30 min plus wore my pedometer have come to realize my norm is 5500 steps so now finding reasons and ways to up that amount ...I wanted to get to 10,000 but right now I will be happy if I get to 8000 a day ....
This week so for (my weeks are from Sun to Sun ) I have worked out once...but seems like the weather is getting nicer so hopefully I will be able to walk in the morning and after work even if it means adding in only one block and maybe while my daughter is on her roller blades I can walk around and watch as long as I am moveing...

Everyone has to start somewhere. If 10 minutes is what you can do right now, just work up from there. You can do it!

I agree with the previous poster that walking is a great place to start. What if you made it a goal to walk 3 times this week first thing in the morning? Then you can slowly build up from there as you get into a regular routine.

walk from the subway is good. Just do something, anything, where you can move more than before is a good place to start. Don't worry about doing specific things or having a plan ATM..

Hello All
Hope everyone is well...dare we say Spring has Sprung FINALLY !!!!!!
I am hoping I can get some advise ,,Alittle history

42 Yrs old
128 Pds
Suffer from Fybro , Costochondritis, thyroid, anxiety, and hypochondriac ...

I have always been an active person ...always worked out in some form ..in the last few years I have been on and off ...now I have been off for sometime ..most of the winter due to illness and pain management. I am now ready to get back into it and I just need some advise .
I know how and what works and doesn't. ...
No Gym - Because I have kids and their activities ..I don't have the extra income either
No Running - Because of my joint pain advised against it .
I do love to walk and speed walk ....
My best time of the day to do this is first thing in the morning or lunch hour
I love beginners booty camp
I just feel so unhealthy and want to get back into the swing of things ....I JUST don't know how to start ...I was thinking about starting tomorrow morning instead of taking the street car to my office I would walk from the subway ...if it is not cold or raining ...

Any suggestions ...I would love a program to follow ...but since I have always been active I don't know if I should do beginners or intermediate ...

Any suggestions ...I want to look and feel great again ...pls still have to lose 5 pds .
