You have found the right place.
The thing In find most helpful is tracking all the food that I eat. Let's me see what I am doing wrong or right. Good luck to you.

There are so many great resources here! I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker because that is the key element in weight loss for most people. Then, once you're comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, start exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. By tracking everything since May 2011 and using the other features here to keep myself focused, I lost 90 pounds and have maintained that loss for over a year now. It takes a little bit of time, but it is sooooo worth it!

Hello SparkPeople. I'm hoping that this community can help me gain some insight into what's keeping me from reaching my weight-loss goals. I have been so used to losing weight easily, but now that I'm over 55 it's harder to lose the weight. I feel as if I need more energy, to discover more healthy foods, healthy recipes for a person who is the go a lot. The one thing I am happy about is that I purchased a Fitbit Flex and it's helping me achieve activity goals. I would now like to keep track of moods, foods, exercise and sleep.
