I concur with the advice. After decades of yo-yo dieting, being on diet after diet & even after gaining weight in SparkPeople, I conceded whatever I was doing wasn't working, so.....I got
, read through it once, then again, which I then started to listen to everything I read. It may seem like going backwards, but I was always gung ho at first, then wavering shortly after starting my 'diet.' Once I started small, exercising just 10 minutes a day (even tho' some days I exercised 2 hours, it was never consistent), working on one healthy habit at a time, I started seeing results. Weight was slow in coming off, but it ALWAYS came off, & I was thrilled when it was only a fraction of a pound because it was a LOSS! Plus once I changed my mindset that I was looking to get healthy & fit; not 'go on a diet,' it made a huge difference.
Start small & you'll get there.
