Put the cereal away (unless it's a high fiber cereal) and have a piece of fruit. I replied to another member who was also having problems controlling their hunger and I recommended that they try to eat more foods that were high in fiber. If you're eating a sugary cereal, you're going to feel more hungry later.
Try having a piece of fruit. Fruit has natural sugar which will help curb any cravings you're having. It also has fiber. Eating foods that are high in fiber will help keep you full for longer. So, if you're not eating 6-9 servings of fresh fruit and veggies each and every day, I'm going to suggest that you do. Eating more fresh fruit and veggies will help curb your hunger.
If you want to be strong and lean like Popeye,"eats yer spinach".
Also, try drinking some water. Some times hunger isn't really hunger, but a manifestation of thirst. Drink up !
