Nah... exercise makes SOME people energized. It is okay that it does the opposite for you.... try an evening exercise session!

Exercise always makes me want to take a nap :) Everyone is different, so I agree that you might want to try working out in the evening and see if that works better for you. Are you tracking all of your food in your nutrition tracker? That will tell you how you're doing relative to your recommended calorie and nutrient ranges and whether or not you are falling short in any specific areas.

I am having a similar issue. My usual routine is to work out right after work and found it a great way to wind down and transition to a relaxing evening. But for the past several weekends, I have taken a long walk in the morning -- and then have trouble staying awake for a few hours.
I have no answers for you ... but I thought I would let you now that you are not alone.
Maybe you would do better to start working out in the evening . It works well for me on the weekdays.

Exercising is supposed to make you feel energized. They say not to work out before bed because it will keep you awake. I work out in the morning and I almost fall asleep at the wheel on the way to work! It wasn't always like this for me. I used to dance and my workouts were 3 hours long for 6 days a week. I had all KINDS of energy! Is it because I'm getting older (I'm 43 now)? Or because I'm a pescetarian (and a poor one at that) so I'm not getting the vitamins or minerals I need? I've tried taking multiple vitamins, drinking protein shakes, different work outs- everything ends with my head on a pillow. HELP!
