Welcome to SparkPeople We are glad to have you here with us. Yes this is a life style change and not a diet. It is a journey of one day at a time. There are times when we have good days and bad days. When you have a bad day don't beat your self up just get up the next day and keep on trying. I use the food and fitness trackers they are very good tools. The teams here are very good with giving lots of support also.

Hey everybody, my name is Kara. Joined SparkPeople for some help with motivation. I've got about 50lbs to lose and I know I can't lose it alone. I love to drink soda and eat anything sweet that isn't nailed down. :) Hopefully I can stick to a healthy "lifestyle" and not feel deprived like the number of other diets I have put myself on. If anyone else needs support, please feel free to email me, I have a great listening ear....
