You prove them wrong and you sure will - your drive is inspirational and I no doubt that you will make it. You in turn will find many great and very inspirational people in here that have been almost everywhere and got the tee shirts to prove it so to say.

Well you are an inspiration to me. The spark keystone is small changes, done consistently make the difference in the long haul. I have only lost 39 pounds in the last 5 years I have been here at spark people... slowly changing one bad habit with a productive one. I walk now with friends, I do water aerobics I look younger, ( says my hubby) and I feel more energetic.
But you may just be able to do it faster than I. Find others who are interested in the same food and exercise plans and join their teams. Start doing the 10 minute at a time exercises. Start posting your food and exercise. Start educating yourself on what is best for you to eat.
Please use the social media portion of spark because it was ladies I met with locally who kept me sparking when everything seemed bleak.

I just turned 45. Seeing a picture of me made me realize just how big I really am. I am a single parent and feel alone on this journey. I cook to please my child's food choices not my own. I know mistake number 1. I was happy and healthy at a nice weight of 150 when I was diagnosed with cancer and told I would be lucky to live 5 years. I began not to care about myself with the help of an abusive husband at the time. Mistake number 2!!! The 5 years has come and gone and I am considered cured and am divorced but now am a hot mess. I was channel surfing the other day and saw a show about a large person and am afraid that will become me. The doctor says because of what my body went through I will never keep weight off. I proved them wrong about 5 years and I am going to prove them wrong about this weight.
