Hello! I am just introducing myself. My username is a reminder of how happy I was from May and into the best Summer of my life. I had been overweight my whole life. At the end of senior year I had shot up to 235lbs. My mother tossed me to live with my cousin who is a success story herself. Long story short, I went from 235lbs to 164lbs, size 18 to a size 6 pant, size XXL to a M shirt. I rekindled an online/long distance relationship with my current boyfriend. We both agreed to meet in 8 months when we "made it official". So I lost all that weight for him, and he actually went from 265lbs to 178lbs before we met. We met, and in two days I decided to move from NJ to TX with him. We've been together for two years now. When we got together we were so happy and just going out to eat, going to movies, and the like. So we both regained our weight together!
Now, we both are on the journey to losing the weight. This only the second day back on this weight loss journey. I told myself I would join Spark (as I have known about it before) when I was "into" the diet. It's the third day of my diet and I've dropped 3lbs of water weight so now I am here!
The thing that made me want to lose weight was my ankles swelling up (Edema I believed it to be) After downing 6 bottles of water a day and staying away from salt they are fine now, and I feel lighter already! It was my reality check, the scare I needed to stop being an idiot and get back into my size 6 jeans once and for all.
I promise I will not vanish and fail this diet. It will be embarassing if I did after promising. I made this account so I could scroll through the inspiring stories and the stories of people who are on this journey just like me. At work at slow times I would read the news articles but now I can read motivation! It also helps to stay away from the workplace bad foods.
