I am hoping that this community can help me to keep my eye on the prize when I don't want to keep going. I know that is a tall order, because it is so easy to do nothing and say, this is just the way I am.

I have been heavy most of my life - more so since I got married (and started eating more of everything like my slender husband always can!). I have been married for 17 years and over that time, I have gained 75 pounds.

I am on vacation now and read an article in First magazine that lead me here. Glad to be part of a community where we are all working on getting to our ideal selves :-)
