I combine this web site with WW's etools and have found I'm doing OK, loosing about 1/2 pound a week if I stick with it.
Also I have a FitBit, which is a fancy pedometer. I love that also, and it's a big motivation for me. We have a FITBIT team here at Spark and there is a private group on Facebook, which is really cool.

Good Morning everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself I am new to SparkPeople. I am a 38 year old mother of 2 who has struggled with being over weight for almost all my life. I am currently 259 pounds. At my highest weight I was 299 but slowly and with in the last 2 years I have done a lot of changes in my eating habits and working out. I do suffer from many health problems and that has kind of slowed me down on my weight loss journey. But I am not a quitter I need to get back on stack and I really hope that SparkPeople will help me do that.
