I just found this website today and I am glad to know there are others going through the same thing I am. I have been going through menopause for years now but just lately I have been putting weight on and cannot get it off. Last year I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia and have to have sporadic infusions! I am tired and fatigued all of the time. I have a lot going on in my life with being a "caretaker" also. In the last two years I have lost a mom, father-in-law and the last 6 months an uncle. I was the primary care-taker for my mom and her brother. I also have custody of my grandson (he is 9). I re-married 5 years ago and have been a stay-at-home mom again since remarrying. I worked after my divorce in '98 up until re-marrrying in 2008 and I LOVED my job but when I married I had to move away for his job. Now I am room-mom, grandmother and wife.....I was a HR assistant, Wellness Coordinator, Events Coodinator and Training Manager (all at once) at my old job so I am use to doing lots of things....thanks for letting me vent!!
