Hello, just remember that calories in minus calories out equals your body weight. Make a few healthier food choices and increase your activity level and you'll get back to your healthy BMI.

New to this place, was looking for somewhere to go to start getting my act together. I'm young, but on the wrong track! I've always eaten a lot, and not good things either. Thankfully my metabolism kept me in line up until about last year and since it hasn't quite had my back. I've gained 20 pounds and even though it may not seem like a lot, to me it's a fair bit considering what I do.

I work at a golf course spending all day outdoors whipper snipping, push mowing, weeding, walking, shoveling, all kinds of physical activity. On top of that I play for a 'AA' Baseball team for our local town, and I'm a firefighter with our local department.

My goal is to lose the weight I've gained, get into a healthy BMI again and build muscle. I'm hoping this place will keep my eating in line, which is what I feel is holding me back from my goals. If I can curve my appetite, or if anyone has any tips as to what I can eat that will satisfy my cravings and not hurt me (too much) let me know!
