I love your Mom's quote! It is so true! In the past, I guess I always felt that if I just said I wanted to lose weight, the number on the scale should just magically drop. When that didn't happen, I would get frustrated. But we know that we have to make up our minds and be just as mentally prepared as we are physically to take on this journey. You have to change what isn't working!

Try not to think about your weight loss in term of end goal sometimes that can be intimidating instead set smaller more achievable goals (they don't have to be lbs lost can be new habits formed too!) reaching small goals frequently helps you feel accomplished and will help you feel motivated Best of luck to you!

My name is Traci. I'm 31. I live in sweet home Alabama married with a lil fur baby named Gino! I joined SP on Feb 13, 2014. I'm scared out of my mind but I need to do this. I feel like with the community support I definitely can!! I will start today officially and hopefully this will be the beginning of me learning to love ME!
