I am here because of my sister, who had 120 lbs to lose and has lost 50lb so far. I m so proud of her. I feel like a dilettante in some ways because I only have 20 lbs to lose, but they are a mean, nasty, hard to lose 20 lbs. I was a long distance runner and have injured my knee. Between the sadness at losing my lifestyle, and my tendency to be a depression eater, I have gained these 20 lbs in the last 6 months and I want to lose them. I am waiting for surgery, I hope to run again, and look forward to being able to do some type of cardio work again, be it walking to start out. Sadly in the last 6 months I have gone back to my late night eating habits and eating crap like chips for comfort. I am resolved to lose this weight. If i could get over the night time eating thing, I would make big strides forward. I admire you all and I really hope that I can get some support - maybe a a fellow night-time eating person who is also working to conquer this particular demon.
