HI, Thanks for the encouragement. WOW !! 100 lbs that is great....... Well, yesterday was an off day...I went out with my husband and ate 2000 calories instead of the 1200-1500 I am suppose to eat, so I am back on track today. I weight myself this morning and I was 148 from 150.....now if I can just keep in that direction.

I want to congratulate you on making this journey. I began my own journey a few years ago and though my pace has been slow I have lost over 100 pounds! You can have success too!

My goals were similar to yours and it took me about 5 months (as I remember). I actually lost too much and my friends told me I was too thin. I raised my goal weight but I have had a hard time staying there. Maybe my body is trying to tell me something. The good thing about the whole spark adventure is that now I exercise regularly (which I did not do before) and my eating habits are much more healthy.
Take a few minutes to make up a sparkpage making it public allowing members to post a message to you on it
Also don't forget to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined

Hi, I am a 61 year women in good shape. I dance, take walks and snow ski, I have started to record my nutrition on Spark people.
I was 150 lbs. and now I just go back and forth between 149-148. I have been doing this for 3 weeks. How long does it take to reach your goal? Mine is 125.
