I started Sparking in June of 2007. By using Spark and some self discovery along the way, I'm down 50 pounds, and am holding steady at a healthy weight. Spark is a massive site, you'll be discovering new and exciting things for months to come!

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I recently lost 45 lbs but somehow I found 20 of it again. I'm hoping this site and some new motivation and reflection will help me lose the pounds once and for all. I just need to figure out how to workout when I work full time, own a dairy farm with my husband, and have 2 small kids.... and have to keep up with the house.. somehow make dinner... clean clothes... clean calf pens.. sleep.. I'd like to remodel the bathroom soon. Maybe I should just focus on reducing stress and eating right. lol
