There are so many great resources here! I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker because that is the key element in weight loss for most people. Then, once you're comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, start exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. By tracking everything since May 2011 and using the other features here to keep myself focused, I lost 90 pounds and have maintained that loss for almost a year now. It takes a little bit of time, but it is sooooo worth it!

My name is Rosalee, I'm 21 years old and I have a 10 month old son. Back in high school I yoyo'd alot between 125-130 lbs. Back then I thought I was huge! Now I feel bad that I allowed myself to get to 180! I got on the depo shot when I was 16 and it was okay at first. I still worked out 5 days out of the week 2 hours a day. But about 6 months after being on it, I noticed I was starting to gain weight, which was okay with me if I gained 5 pounds..only problem was it wouldn't stop. I started working out harder and harder but it was still coming! I gained 60 lbs while on that shot..once I turned 18 I got off of it. It took me almost a year before I started losing the weight. I was down to 160 when I got pregnant. I tried not to overdo the eating which was hard because I wanted everything!! By my 9 month check up (2 days before I gave birth) I was 198! I almost cried because I was so close to 200lbs, I had my baby and I was down to 188. I lost 10 pounds after giving birth. I told myself I would keep trying and work out alot to lose the rest of the weight. Which never happened. I haven't worked out, I tried once but I got tired to fast and quit..I figured I would have time one day or I will buy a treadmill next week, again nothing happened! I always said to myself and my hubby that I would, but I would make excuses like "I don't have time or the equipment", now I can honestly say that I was delaying everything because I'm lazy! I work 8 hours a day and get home and care for my son, put him to bed and play a video game or watch TV after, time I could use to workout! I weighed myself at my sister in law's house and I was 192..I knew at that moment I need to change! No more postponing, because if I do, I know that I will regret it one day. I hate healthy food though, cant stand salads or veggies they both literally make me sick! So with that I bought vitamins and will be trying new ways to eat these horrid foods. My goal is to go down to 145..or heck maybe even lower! :) I feel very confident in this! Mostly because my hubby is also on the track of getting healthy!
