Hi Melissa, no i'm not diabetic but i just got tested just high cholesterol. Not a bad goal you set up either but i'm sure you can do it just stay positive. My favorite part of the plan would have to be the food tracker, i like being able to experiment without having to follow the meal plan, i'm kinda a free bird lol. What your greatest weakness? Mine would have to be coffee and chocolate. I'm still drinking coffee but in increments. And i'm having issues with motivation, I consistently running around all day by the time i get home i don't want to do anything. How do you get motivated?

WELCOME TO SPARK!!! Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time.
A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.
1. Put together your own Spark page. This is a great way to communicate with other members and build relationships that will support and motivate you. You can do this by going to the START page and the green section has something about your Sparkpage.
2. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.
3. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.
The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Hi Karah. I'm Melissa. I'm new here also. The site is very easy to use. I just finished completeing my menu's for tomorrow. It sure seems like alot of food to eat but the choices are alot better than what I was eating. So are you diabetic? I am. I'm a type 2. I just allowed my weight to get out of control and my blood sugars have been really bad lately. I sure hope this site can help me make a difference in my eating habits! I have about 140 lbs to lose. Whew......I got a ways to go! What is your favorite part of the site so far?

Hi i'm Karah and i'm very excited that i found this website. My goal is to lose 100 pounds and i love how the tools are so easy to use. I work at Dunkin Donuts so as you all know its extremely difficult not to eat anything there, oh boy is it difficult lol so i hope i can give and get lots of support and hope to learn something new, and meet new friends during this journey to happiness.
