If you are exercising outside, be very careful. Accidents related to ear buds, joggers/walkers not being able to hear or being distracted by technology (phones/ipods/etc), are on the rise. There are some pretty alarming statistics out there about your chances of being hurt while exercising with headphones or ear buds. It's best to devote your full attention to your surroundings.

I listen with ear buds to audiobooks (thank god for digital libraries through local library systems) on my iPhone no matter whether I'm running outside or on treadmill, or whether I'm running or using elliptical. Audiobooks keep me going. After all, if I quit, I don't get to hear what happens next. :)

I walk outside and listen to music on my iPod, so definitely ear buds.

When you exercise at the gym or at home, do you prefer to listen to your music on headphones or from speakers?

Do you prefer to listen to music or podcasts?

Do you prefer listening to something or watching tv/movie?
