I've read "A Walk in the Woods, but not the other one. I will go looking for A Short History Of Nearly Everything. That sounds like a good one.
Thanks for the suggestion!\ Jibbie!

I hope you have read the wonderful book by Bill Bryson "A WALK IN THE WOODS."

Of course, his book "A SHORT HISTORY OF NEARLY EVERYTHING" is one of the best.

Today I'm getting ready to hike Mt. Katahdin. I am hiking all of the 4,000 foot peaks. I've hiked the NH and Vermont peaks, now I'm working on the elusive and distant Maine peaks.
