getting over the "why can some people eat whatever they want and stay skinny" thing was a huge part of my emotional development.

so? they're not fit and they're not healthy.

If you ever saw me, you'd think the exact same thing of me, but you do not know from looking at me, how hard I have worked and continue to work to look and feel the way I do.

We all have those moments! Better to eat something maybe not so healthy than go hungry, because you know, by the time you touch down you'd be so hungry you would probably make a poor choice!

Try to take some healthy (even if sodium laden) prepackaged snacks with you when you know you are traveling. A protein bar, dried fruit snacks, single serve nut packs, 100 calorie snack packs, etc all make great portable, TSA-approved travel companions

Lost 65lbs in 15 months to get healthy and in top shape to try to get pregnant, and succeeded! Had our first baby in February 2013!

I only gained 32lbs in my pregnancy (and immediately lost half within a few weeks of his birth). April 1st is my full restart date.

How about one of the McDonalds salads ? They do have salads. You could even have a yogurt cup. I think they still have those. Worse case, you could have a small hamburger or a small fries if you just wanted something to take the edge off of the waiting.

So, there are no other food options other than a McDonalds ? What airport terminal are you trapped in ?

And unfortunately beyond the gate, you can't take anything in with you.

There are healtier options at Mickey D's. I go for the snack wraps and side salad.

Sitting at the Airport - STARVING - no snacks. The only food options are McDonalds (which I have completely banned in hopes of cutting out more fast food later) or California Pizza Kitchen - where even the salads are 700 calories. I really want a cheese pizza but at 990 calories I couldn't eat dinner and I know I wouldn't be able to stop half way through. Nothing to eat. Ready to cry. I hate that skinny people can eat whatever they want and stay skinny. it's no fair.
