I think my portion sizes have been sneaking up and it's the root of my long plateau.

Since starting SP it's been so much easier to watch my portion sizes since I don't want to log that I over ate. I love SP!

I've always had an issue with portion size up until recently. I'm doing much better with it now and my waistline is showing the results. I've gone from a size 16 to a size 12 since the beginning of the year :)

It's amazing how much food a 1 cup measure holds.

Yes. I also use small bowls/plates for everything and also I keep what I eat from plus measuring cups and spoons in a small plastic container with a lid.
I found some collaspible measuring cups that don't take up nearly the room as those standard ones.

That's a great idea to put everything in one drawer!

All my measuring tools are in one drawer in the kitchen...scales, several measuring spoons and different sized measuring cups...I use them every time I plan a meal or snack! emoticon

Yep I almost always do (unless out and I have to guestimate). I find it's the best way to keep track of everything.

24-7-365 weight and measure.. Only way to go. Eye balling stuff disappoints alot of people so I don't go there..

Tip: I actually went to the store and bought a smaller bowl and smaller plate all for me! The family knows that these are mine emoticon
