I had two children and was left with....well, a mess. I had a "mommy makeover" and had a breast lift w/ implants and a full tummy tuck. Best decision I ever made. The recovery (especially with the tummy tuck) wasn't fun. I had drains in for two weeks and I couldn't lay flat because they sew your stomach muscles so tightly together. I was back at work within 4 weeks though (and I have a very strenuous job). I have never, ever regretted my decision. I feel like "me" again. Make sure you consult a Board Certified plastic surgeon and remember, you get what you pay for! The scars from the surgery will be around forever so make sure you look at your surgeon's "work" from other patients. The scars are just as important as the other results. Good luck!

I would appreciate hearing from some people who have had extra skin removed (tummy tuck, breast lift, etc.) or know someone who has gone through this. I would like to know how you handled the pain, the scars, how you felt during and after, etc. I am thinking of getting this done so I can feel better about my body. I went through the work to lose the weight and now I would like to get rid of the extra skin.

Thanks!
