I had a good chuckle when I saw the title of this thread!
I've licked the spoon, but never sat down with a spoon and a tub, but I WILL do a squirt of Redi-Whip in the mouth when I use that, and as a kid, I could ssit down with a spoon and a can of Sweetened Condensed milk. Now.......I could eat a whole jar of the honey peanut butter if I REALLY allowed myself!

I get the 95% fat free kind when the kids ask for it. That way if I dip in it hurts a lot less calories. Unfortunately, it's like chips, after that 1st taste it's hard to stop the need for more sugar-like gratification.
I have. I measure it with my food scale to make sure i'm eating the exact amount that I add to my tracker. A few tbsps of cool whip when measured is a lot less than I assumed it would be. I've even added chocolate chips before for a quick dessert. Reminded me of pie, but without the crust and filling.
Yes, just to use it up.....but it wasn't as satisfying as having it on fruit or a dessert.

matter of a fact yes...... see i am a diabetic so instead of watching calories i watch total carbs and being dairy it has none. so yes i have opened a new one up and just eaten the whole thing with my finger
Yuck, I don't like cool whip, BUT I have eaten those little 10 calorie-type things -- yesterday it was just 3 Doritos, but that was 50 calories! Well, like you, I have decided that if I eat it, it gets tracked no matter what. What a big motivator to not eat the little bites.
love coolwhip and will just eat it plain... it also makes a yummy dip for fruit if you mix in a package of dry jello (strawberry is best)... it's light and fruity and has a mousse-like consistency and is great on it's own but also yum with fruit!

great rule there, but ..eeeeww no...real whip cream straight from the can...guilty..lol. I'm not a whip cream snob..just prefer the taste better...husband and daughter prefer Cool Whip. I love the "laugh about and move on" comment too. Beating yourself up too much just makes you reach for the Cheetos too.

LOL! I needed something sweet today; I must have had 10 tablespoons. I counted them on my tracker. Fortunately, I didn't go over on calories today, and the rest of my food was nutritious. My new rule: If I'm gonna eat it, I have to track it, no matter what it is.
