I remember my mother saying (when she was in her 60s) I can't be this old - I don't feel like it. Now me, same story - I know my chronological age, but I refuse "think" old. One day I suppose it will hit me - my wrinkles will give me away (but they are mostly smile 'grooves'!)but not now! clm
So I thought about this; What DOES it mean to be *OLD*?
For me, here are a few things it means; ~using *old* as an excuse not try new things such as healthy foods and/or exercises ~using *old* to make an excuse not to have sex ~using *old* as an excuse to NOT at least TRY to understand today's youth ~using *old* to not go out and have a good time i.e. "I'm too old to go to dance clubs" ~using *old* to say this, "I'm SET in my ways" ~many more.....
