You and I must have very similar tastes - LOL!

The Grapefruit is one of the very fruit/veges that I DO NOT like.

I tried the pomelo today. I didn't like it... it was too close to a grapefruit. But I'm still going to try some other new fruits, who knows what I might find.

I tried the Ugli fruit today...AWESOME! It was so juicy and was easy to peel. Trying the pomelo tomorrow.

A ripe uglifruit is yummy. I don't like grapefruit one little bit, and the uglifruit is the closest to one that I wlll eat. They are also WONDERFUL to peel :-)

As far as trying new fruits, when you are at the supermarket, pluck up the courage and ask if they will cut various fruits up small for free tasters because you have to broaden your horizons. I have done this, and they have obliged, and picked up loads of sales as a result.

They are good! Yes, like a sweet grapefruit.

I've tried a lot of different things. I love to go to ethnic grocery stores and try new fruits and veggies.

I love pumelos! They make my mouth tingly, not sure why! But really tasty!

Hello. I am trying to expand my fruit horizons by picking up fruit I have never eaten. I picked up an ugli fruit and a pomelo and was wondering has anyone else had these? If so what did it taste like? I heard they are both like grapefruit only sweeter. Do you have any other ideas for new fruit? What have you tried? Did you like it?
