Hi all....just checked in with Spark Coach and he says I'm a motivator! Well, I don't know if he's right or not but a couple of months ago I fell and broke my arm and my shoulder. O boy! Definitely an unplanned move. I've been frustrated with dieting and exercising and very unsure what will work for me. I've completed the initial therapy with arm motions etc. but not much else. My orthopedist said I need more therapy so yesterday I found out more about that from the trainer herself. I talked with her and explained while I definitely need work to get my arm moving I also need to continue work on the rest of my body, i.e. exercise and more exercise for a low-back instability. Wow! I discovered that while I'm at the therapist, my Rx was for my arm but it will also work with me to find exercises I can do and not reinjure my arm. The arm work is painful but I did it and no complaints; now I will also be given some work to do at home(?} for my back (including stretches and cardio too). How's that for working to stay on track to lose weight and maintain fitness. Just wanted to let folks know where there is a will there is bound to be a way. GO ME!
