The program is awesome, that is for sure. I am lucky in that my blood work is all in the normal ranges so I get lots of points for that every year. Every workout, event, etc. is more points added on too, along with various other health related things, I'm now saving up for some workout DVDs for when It is icky outside!

I just got a heart rate monitor yesterday. Not only was it free through the fitness program at work (I had saved up enough points to get it), but I have discovered why I always hated exercise...I was going waaay too hard (I validated the hrms counts by measuring the old fashioned way numerous, random times. It is right on).

When doing my normal workout, my heart rate was getting way up into the danger zone...190s. No wonder I was always tired and couldn't breathe! I calmed it down a ton and the workout was actually enjoyable. My recommended target range is 106 to 164. I was averaging 152 over the course of half an hour. Yay!! One other benefit: Im burning 50 percent more calories than I thought! :-)
