I would say thankyou and agree with dumping them in the rubbish. Perhaps a little honesty with the baker and other people around you in good time- your trying to phase alot of this type of food out of your families life for the good of the whole families health situation? 100 cookies is a little over the limit even for common decency with my regular food pushers lol..

Well, that was a kind gesture from your friend ! What to do ? Take a few home for you and your family to enjoy. Remember, as long as you practice portion control, there is absolutely no reason you can't enjoy a cookie or two during the holidays. Spark People isn't about deprivation. It's all about moderation and portion control.
So, why not put a handful in a baggie and leave the rest out for your co-workers in the break room. This way, everyone gets to enjoy the cookies and you don't feel an urge to eat all 50.

Be strong! You can do this! TRUST that you are in control of what you eat. Whatever you do, do not skip lunch or your planned snack. Allowing ourselves to get too hungry can lead to binging down the road.

Just throw them in the garbage.
Anything that people give to me that I don't want to eat, I throw it straight to the trash.

A friend just dropped off about 100 cookies to me at work...and I'm going to be here for another 12 hours! Half are a gift for my mother, and half are for my house- I don't think I have the will power to make it through the rest of the day without devouring at least a dozen and my weigh in is tomorrow!! I am allowing myself 2 after lunch- but this is my first real week on the spark plan- and I need support QUICK. Just writing this is taking some power away!
