I try to make sure I only eat when I'm truly hungry, and discovered that usually when I want food after dinner, it's just a craving. If I am truly hungry after dinner, I'll have one portioned out healthy snack, like fruit/yogurt or a slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter.

For when I just feel like I need something in my hands while I'm on the couch? Tea helps a lot for me.Especially ones that smell really wonderful.

hey guys thanks for the replies. i use to be a really healthy eater. just portion size was my downfall.. then i hit a rough patch of depression and lots of downs in life. now im getting back on top im finally ready to get healthy and feel good about the way i look for once in my life :)

sugar would be my biggest weakness. argh

Lots of low cal vegies and fruits will fill you up and not out.

Changing your lifestyle is always a challenge but I promise you its soooooooo worth it. As far as not mindlessly snacking after dinner I do a few things...brush my teeth, chew gum, stay out of the kitchen and positive self talk. Good luck!

Hello! This site will be wonderful to get you to where you want to be! Input your current weight and goal weight into the weight page and spark will tell you how much you should be eating. Also, input how much you workout so that everything is accurate! Good luck!

hey everyone. joined the site yesterday. im a 22 yr old female. i currently weigh 63 kg.. my normal weight was always between 50-55. im trying to get down to 55 asap. got my birthday coming up in a few weeks and also my friends wedding where i am a bridesmaid... and i cant do the dress up lol..

how do i stop eating after dinner!!!!
