If you can stand up, start by marching in place holding on to a chair. Do it for short periods of time to increase your strength and endurance. Purchase a pedometer to monitor your steps. It helps to motivate you. Do 1000 steps per hour or even 500. Spark has free chair videos posted.
I am new to all of this, I have been small my whole life, last year I got really sick and am now on a life reg. of meds, I am on oxygen and my activity level is very low. I have gained close to 85lbs and It is killing me physically and emotionally. I am trying so hard but I am lost when it comes to how to maintain exercising and eating healthy!! I feel like a failure!!
